February and March Recap

I added the second half February onto the recap for March since I started blogging in the middle of February.

Books I read:

I  read 13 books in the past month and a half.

March Recap

(The things sticking out of the books are little  sticky flags that I use to mark pages that I like. Some books aren’t shown since they are e-books.)

The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey (review)

Unremembered by Jessica Brody (review)

One Lovely Blog Award (tag/award)

Favorite book of the month:

February: The Infinite Sea

March: It started out as Unremembered but then I read Since You’ve been Gone, and I fell in love again.

Things I did:

Started brainstorming a new WIP (work in progress). I started  brainstorming a new book to work on while I take a break from my other one. I love my first book, but I need to take a step back for awhile so I can come back to it with fresh eyes. Besides, brainstorming is so much fun. I plan to start this new project during Camp NaNoWriMo.

Started this blog. I’ve been wanting to start a book blog for a long time now, and decided I just needed to start it and see where it went.

Tomorrow I will be posting my first Camp NaNoWriMo update for the month of April.

One Lovely Blog Award

A HUGE thanks to Theresa @ The Calico Books for thinking of me and tagging me in this!

The rules:

  • Each nominee must THANK the person who nominated them and link their blog in the post.
  • They must include the rules and add the blog award badge as an image.
  • Must add 7 facts about them.
  • Then nominate 15 people!

The facts:

  1. I love hedgehogs. I have a ridiculous amount of hedgehog themed stuff. Such as; stickers, figurines, stuffed animals, socks, and books.

2.  Blue Bell ice cream is my favorite ice cream, you just can’t go wrong with it.

3. I have my BA in psychology.

4. My family runs a small private Christian school where everyone is a volunteer.

5. I teach 3rd & 4th grade at said school.

6. I used to do pointe ballet (the kind where you’re actually on your toes). There are days that I want to try it again, but it’s been three years. I would probably break an ankle if I tried it now.

7. I kind of like doing laundry. That being said, I’m way behind on laundry.

8. My goal every year is to read 100 books, but so far I’ve never succeeded.
